Noticeboard

PRESCRIPTION ORDERING CHANGES - From 21st September 2020 you will have to order repeat medication directly via your GP practice, not via your pharmacy or medical equipment supplier. You can order in the following ways: online via Patient Access, by email to cuccg.atkinson.prescriptions@nhs.net , by dropping the request at the surgery or via post.  If you can’t order by these means and don’t have a family member, friend or carer able to order for you, please contact us.

Please note this only affects the ordering of your prescription. When you order your repeat prescription directly through your GP practice, your pharmacy will continue to collect or receive your prescription as before. Pharmacies may also continue to deliver your prescription if you currently receive this service.

Test Results

When you attend for a test of any kind you will be told how long you should expect to wait for the results. Please bear this in mind and call the surgery after 13.00 once sufficient time has elapsed.

The Doctor checks the results daily, and enters a comment on your notes. The receptionist will tell you if the results are normal or if you need to speak to the Doctor. Results can take between a few days and a few weeks to come back, depending on what you have had done.

Please note that we do have a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. In this respect we will only give out results to the person they relate to unless that person has given prior permission for their release or if they are not capable of understanding them.
