Noticeboard

PRESCRIPTION ORDERING CHANGES - From 21st September 2020 you will have to order repeat medication directly via your GP practice, not via your pharmacy or medical equipment supplier. You can order in the following ways: online via Patient Access, by email to cuccg.atkinson.prescriptions@nhs.net , by dropping the request at the surgery or via post.  If you can’t order by these means and don’t have a family member, friend or carer able to order for you, please contact us.

Please note this only affects the ordering of your prescription. When you order your repeat prescription directly through your GP practice, your pharmacy will continue to collect or receive your prescription as before. Pharmacies may also continue to deliver your prescription if you currently receive this service.

GP Net Earnings

All GP practices are required to declare the mean earnings (e.g. average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.

The average pay for GPs working in Atkinson Health Centre Practice  in the last financial year was £74,685 before tax and National Insurance. This is for 1 full time GP and 3  part time GPs who worked in the practice for more than six months

It should be noted that the prescribed method for calculating earnings is potentially misleading because it takes no account of how much time Doctors spend working in the Practice, and should not be used to form judgement about earnings, or to make any comparison with any other Practice.
